I accidentally bought a gift card for my Mum for Christmas and my sister pointed out I was meant to buy a gift card for a similar sounding company. So far, all my fault. However, when I tried to return the gift card using the suggested method in my order email, the automated return process refused to accept my order number and email combination. I reached out to customer services outside of the automated return service and they have still not got back to me over a month later. The White Company have, however, spammed me with a marketing email nearly every day since and sometimes twice in one day. Obviously, I take the blame for the incorrect purchase, but the subsequent customer service is a mess. Buyer beware if you need to return something.
